Manchester Airport – one of UK's best airports

Manchester Airport is a major airport located at Ringway in the City of Manchester within Greater Manchester, UK. Furthermore, it is the busiest airport in the country outside the London region. In terms of passenger numbers, Manchester Airport was the fourth- busiest airport in the United Kingdom and overall the seventeenth-busiest airport in Europe in 2009. Parking at Manchester Airport

The airport has two parallel runways and three terminals, which are located 13.9 km south-west of Manchester city centre. Moreover, the airport has a ground transport interchange, including a railway station. There are petrol stations with mini supermarkets close to the Terminals 1 and 2.
Manchester Airport is one of only seventeen airports in the world with the highest 'Category 10' rating enabling the airport to handle larger 'Code F' aircraft. Furthermore, Manchester Airport won the award for the World’s Best Airport in 1995.

Getting to the airport car park

There are three terminals at Manchester Airport. When you arrive at the airport, it helps to know which terminal you are flying from. Get best value for money and pre-book your individual parking option online in advance. Pre-booking not only guarantees you an ideal parking space, but also a special rate. Manchester Airport offers both short-stay and long-stay parking spaces. All terminals have drop off areas. If you want to pick up passengers, park in the short-stay car parks.
All terminals offer convenient and reasonable short and long-stay parking, valet-parking and meet & greet. You have the choice of turning up and paying on arrival or pre-booking online in advance.
The multi-storey car park for short-stay parking is located next to the terminals and only minutes away from check-in. The car park for long-stay parking is located approximately 800 m from the terminals. There are regular buses running 24 hours a day and buses are free of charge. Designated parking bays are available for disabled drivers in all of our car parks.
